3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

3.1 Within the SelfPubEmpire Family of Brands

Because SelfPubEmpire, Boiled Down Basics, KSquare Magazine, and Senior Dummies' Guides are all operated by SelfPubEmpire, LLC, your information may be used across our brands to provide and improve the Services. For example, your account and subscription information may be used to deliver content from any of our brands, and your activity on one Website may inform content recommendations on another. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are obligated to protect it.

3.3 KSquare Magazine Contributors

If you submit work to KSquare Magazine and it is accepted for publication, your name (or pen name) and biographical information you provide may be published on ksquaremag.com and promoted through SelfPubEmpire's other channels. We will not publish your contact information without your consent.

3.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

3.5 Business Transfers

If SelfPubEmpire is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction — including the sale or transfer of any individual brand — your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

3.6 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us your explicit consent to do so.

3.7 Aggregated or De-identified Data

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services across all of our brands. We may also retain information as necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services. Links between our own brand Websites are governed by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you visit.

9. International Transfers

SelfPubEmpire is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction.
